Although I still like using clay and making ceramic jewelry, my focus right now is on making my own fused glass artwork. I love to come up with different and unique designs - the possibilities with this type of artwork are endless." 
"The process of making each of my pieces can take days, or even weeks depending on the design, but it is the end result that is truly gratifying! I handcut my own glass, layer it to get the design I want and then fuse the glass together in my kiln at 1450 - 1500 degrees. All of my pieces are fused with compatible glass and annealed (cooled slowly) for durability and strength. I also incorporate dichroic glass throughout my pieces. This glass leaves a beautiful effect as the metallic coating absorbs and reflects different colors of light at different angles."
